The inspiration for my animated ecards is largely drawn from my passion for wildlife and the abundant beauty of nature. When I am not working on the ecards, I am splitting my time between my family and my passion - photography. In the last year I have traveled three times to the Western Indian Himalayas to contribute on a conservation and photography project of the highly endangered Western Tragopan. One of the most difficult to see birds in the world, it has never been photographed in the wild. To see a small sample of my photography, please visit w w w . f r e d e r i k k e t u . c o m.

Born in Sweden to Danish parents, I was raised in Denmark, the Netherlands and Chile, before moving to the US in 1991. I studied International Business in college but found little satisfaction in work that did not have an artistic element to it. Even without any formal training in arts, I decided to learn Flash animation on my own after seeing Jacquie Lawson's animated ecards. The responses to my artistic ecards and the warm comments of our members are in themselves a reward. I feel blessed that in every aspect of my life I can create something small but immensely meaningful to me.

My two sons, Emil and Esben, seven and five years old, and my husband Timothy are my greatest fans and critics. Through the support, comments and ideas of our friends, family and our members, we hope to continue to bring you artistic ecards that delight and inspire.

Pardon for my English! Lightness, elegance, clearness. Joy for the eyes and emotions for my hearth.

These moving works of art manage to perfectly capture the sentimentality and creativity so often lost in the freebie eCards cluttering up the net. Sure, there's a price, but at $10 for a year's worth of access to high quality cards, it isn't much to pay...
